DraftSight uses a familiar DWG-style plotting workflow with Sheets, PageLayouts/Print Configurations, PrintStyles and built-in PDF output. AutoCAD users can transfer many concepts, but they should learn DraftSight’s own names and saved-configuration behavior.
DraftSight provides reusable output settings through PageLayouts and Print Configurations, depending on the enabled workflow/version. Both are meant to keep printer, paper, scale, orientation and PrintStyle choices from being re-entered every time.
