AutoCAD Lineweights Not Plotting: Causes and Fixes
If assigned lineweights do not appear in PDF or paper, find out whether the intended thickness comes from the layer/object itself or from the CTB/STB. Then check the Page Setup options that control plotted lineweights and plot styles.
Start here — what you are going to do
Your goal: Restore the intended thin/medium/heavy hierarchy without changing every layer blindly.
Where to start: Choose one object that should clearly plot thin and one that should clearly plot heavy.

Step by step — follow this in AutoCAD
Step 1 — Read the two source objects
Where: Select the thin and heavy objects > Properties / Layer Properties.

Step 6 — Correct only the proven cause
Where: Named Page Setup, CTB/STB mapping or layer/object property.
Do this: Change the one setting that is actually wrong.
Check: Unrelated lineweights remain untouched.
Step 7 — Verify PDF and paper when important
Where: Plot a PDF and one physical sample if the deliverable is hardcopy-critical.
Do this: Compare with the known-good calibration reference.
Check: The fix is proven in final output.
Beginner example
A wall intended for 0.50 mm plots like a 0.13 mm furniture line. If their layer values differ, check whether the selected CTB maps both colors to the same lineweight or whether the Page Setup is not using the intended plot-style/lineweight workflow.
