Educational and technical information
CADPlotting.com provides general educational and technical information. CAD applications, operating systems, printer drivers, plotters, PDF devices and office standards vary. A procedure that works in one environment may require adjustment in another.
You are responsible for checking the final drawing, PDF and physical output before relying on it for production, construction, manufacturing, contractual, regulatory or other critical use.
Software, scripts and downloadable files
CADPlotting.com may provide LSP, DXF, ZIP, PDF, template, checklist, chart and other downloadable files. Unless a download includes a separate license or notice, these resources are provided for use with the CADPlotting.com content and are offered as is.
Before running a script or applying automated changes:
- save your work and keep a backup;
- test on a copy or non-production drawing first;
- confirm compatibility with your CAD application, version and operating system;
- review the resulting Page Setups, plot styles, paths, file names and output;
- do not assume that a source-reviewed file has been runtime-tested unless the page explicitly says so.
CADPlotting.com does not guarantee that every downloadable file will work with every CAD version, security configuration, printer driver, network environment or company standard.
Calculators and troubleshooting tools
Calculator results are aids for checking plotting decisions. They do not replace measurement of the final PDF or hardcopy. Fix My Plot is a diagnostic guide, not an automated guarantee that a particular hardware or software fault has been identified.
No warranty
The site and its resources are provided without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Technical content may become outdated as software, drivers and hardware change.
Limitation of responsibility
