ANSI A through E are common North American engineering paper sizes. Match both the standard name and its physical dimensions before plotting because similar ARCH names use different sheet sizes.

ANSI A is 8.5 × 11 in (216 × 279 mm). In AutoCAD, select the real printer or PDF device first, then choose ANSI A from that device’s Paper Size list and make sure the Layout title block matches the physical sheet.
