AutoCAD PDF Is the Wrong Scale: How to Fix It
If an AutoCAD PDF is not to scale, check the Layout viewport or Model Space plot scale, PDF page size and any Fit or Shrink setting used when printing the PDF. A correct viewport can still be ruined downstream.

Step by step — follow this in AutoCAD
Step 1 — Check Plot Preview
Where: AutoCAD > Ctrl+P > Preview.
Do this: Look specifically for wrong size or scale.
Check: You know whether the problem already exists before PDF creation.
Step 2 — Check the Page Setup
Where: PAGESETUP > Modify.
Do this: Confirm PDF PC3, paper, Plot Area, 1:1 Layout scale and CTB/STB.

Step 3 — Read viewport or Model plot scale
Where: Viewport Properties or Plot dialog.

Step 6 — Check PDF printing
Where: PDF viewer > Print.
Do this: Use Actual Size/100% on matching paper.
Check: No downstream Fit/Shrink remains.
