How to Set a Viewport Scale in AutoCAD
To set a viewport scale, select the viewport border on a Layout and choose the required scale from the Viewport Scale control or the Properties palette. Lock the viewport after the view is correct.

Step 1 — Open the Layout

Where: Click once on the viewport frame in Paper Space.

Where: Select the viewport border > Properties > Display Locked = Yes.
Do this: Turn on the display lock after the view is approved.
Check: Accidental zooming no longer changes the production scale.

Do this: Check sheet composition, border and scale-related notes.
Check: The sheet looks ready for a test PDF.
